Mario's homemade basil pesto & estate-grown olive oil are also available (subject to seasonal availability).

Final tastings for the day commence at 4pm.
As a small family business, we appreciate bookings in advance. If booking on the day, please call Madeleine on 0430 312 165 or Helen on 0400 865 524.

AUTUNNO @ VINEA MARSON
LA VENDEMMIA
The beginning of autumn sees the commencement of our harvest season. First, the grapes from the Alpine Valleys, followed by hand picking at our Heathcote home here at the foot of Mount Camel. The 2026 season will be short, thanks to the mid-November frost that took most of our crop. We're looking on the bright side though - a more gentle pace for la vendemmia and continuing to share the fruits of our labour with you - at the Cellar Door or a forthcoming event.
And finally in May our vineyard cover crops are sown - a winter mix of vetch, barley, legumes and root vegetables, followed by our olive harvest. We're delighted to share the first pressings over the vintage over the King's Birthday Long Weekend - a celebration to mark the end of the harvest season and beginning of our winter dormancy.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
'One of the best wine tasting and hospitality experiences I have had. Mario and Helen were both great in describing the various wines and the story behind them and the vineyard. If you’re visiting or driving through Heathcote definitely worth a visit.'
Anna - April 2026
'Great wine and staff were happy to tell us all about it. A lot of the wine they gave us to try was cellared for a while. I'd be happy to pay more for a 6 y.o. wine on principle but they seem like amazing value for taste and age. Beautiful outlook too.'
